Dr. Heick is a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and a practicing chiropractor since 1993. She has been the proud owner of Waterloo North Chiropractic & Massage since 1994. Dr. Heick likes a holistic approach to taking care of your family’s health. She believes in lifelong wellness to allow you to reach your goals and enjoy your everyday activities. She is certified in acupuncture and laser therapy and uses these therapies to help facilitate the healing process. As a Certified Animal Chiropractor, your pet’s health and wellbeing is as important to Dr. Heick as any other member of your family. Dr. Heick has been adjusting animals since 1994 and continues a small animal chiropractic practice at the office.
Dr. Heick is a lifetime professional member of the American Veterinary chiropractic Association (AVCA). AVCA professional membership is limited to licensed doctors of chiropractic and licensed doctors of veterinary medicine who are certified in animal chiropractic by the Animal Chiropractic Certification Commission (ACCC) of the AVCA, the primary national credential for this profession in North America. These doctors have successfully completed the Animal Chiropractic Certification Commission (ACCC) of the AVCA certification requirements which included successfully passing an AVCA approved postgraduate program (a minimum of 210 hours) in animal chiropractic. Certification is distinct from licensure in that it is voluntary and requires re-certification to maintain the credential. ACCC/AVCA Certified Doctors are required 30 hours of continuing education every three years to keep certification current.
